Hello all,
I was wondering if there are any items that items that add to the damage done by spells? A player of mine is making an Evocation focused character and I wanted to add something like that for them to discover later, possibly off of an enemy spellcaster who also specializes in Evocation.
Try as I might though I haven't been able to find anything when I search through my books.

There are a few but they are almost exclusively consumables. Spells in pathfinder do damage based on caster level so an easy way to set up such an item is “+1 caster level on evocation spells” there’s an ioun stone that grants +1 caster level straight up so you can back calc the market price of the item off that if you care.
Alternatively the consumables are things like liquid ice being used as an extra material component in cone of cold to add 1 dmg per die or acid being used in a number of spells to add a coupld points of acid damage(my favorite use here is acid+grease). I assume the character isn’t terribly specialized if you want to give him more damage but you can also play around with a custom item that boosts different elements in different ways. Make lightning bend to hit metal targets, make fire aoes bigger, add dots to acid or debuffs to cold. Most if that can actually be done with metamagic rods but having a single item that can do a lot of narrow stuff is fun

There are a few things that might interest the OP. The easy answer is metamagic rods. Most evokers love having several Rods of Elemental Spell to change their favorite spell into an element that works vs their current opponent. Each rod converts to one kind of damage, so most evokers want several different rods.
Something a bit closer to what OP is talking about is the Book of Harms found in the Preconstructed Spellbooks. The preparation ritual found in that book is interesting. Make sure you and the player understand how preparation rituals work.
There are also Alchemical Reagents. They have a very minor effect, but at least they are cheap. The +1 damage they add isn't per dice. It is just +1. But hey, it is something. This sort of thing is more valuable at low levels.
