Homebrewed race + Biohacker + Medic + Herolab Online. I need advice please?

My GM is letting me create a race for starfinder and he will check it before he run his game in the future. He doesn't want brokenness. I want to play a magical or supernatural Phase kangaroo that is a biohacker and combat medic. I am new to the biohacker class as well. She is also retired from the absolom station navy.

My character is a female kangaroo and I plan to take cheek pouches and fluff it into a kangaroo pouch. I want to take a phase power for my race but the grey's race version is too broken to use. What do you all suggest for a different phase power in hero lab?

Plus how should create the rest of the phase kangaroo race's stats and abilitys stuff for her? How should I build my characters class too.

Not seeing the phase ability as that powerful. But if you wanted to tone it down, you could have it require a swift action or a move action and keep the times per day limit. Which would mean you'd have to ready to hop into another dimension.

Cheek pouch----> belly pouch translates easily

The race should probably have powerful leap (you always count as a runninig start) and probably a +4 to athletics checks to jump.

I'd echo that the gray's phase ability isn't that good.

I had a player build a casty technomancer who used dragonbreath augmentations to pad out his offense when he ran out of spells, and yes, phase made that concept work, but the reason it worked is that character normally stayed out of combat, and could save the extremely limited phases for when they needed them, and still had the stamina for the other 4/5 of the time when it didn't work.
