Should I play my lvl 4 pc in a tier 1-2 game?

I have a monk 4 who I've leveled up through home games and ongoing store games. Tonight I have the chance to play with my homegroup in the only other scenario I haven't played yet, but the party would be firmly in the 1-2 tier due to some players having only played two to three scenarios. So my question is, will I completely nerf my character's wealth by playing down a scenario, or should I create a new lvl 1 pc to play in the lower tier? Any advice would be great!

I'd take advantage of the opportunity and create a new PC. If you played your monk 4 down you'd have to hold back and make an effort not to clean the battlemat of foes else the rest of them wouldn't enjoy themselves.

You haven't played with his monk. There is no risk of that :)

Seriously I'd play down monks don't need wealth the way other classes do.

PS you can then run it for PFS-NYC crowd when we find a space

Yeah, it was fun to have him and my ranger who dropped his bow to use a crossbow instead, just because the awesome reaper mini had it in its hand.

Thanks for the encouragement, Rich!

I did in fact play the monk and it's a good thing I did, because a party of 2 lvl 1, 1 lvl 2 and 1 lvl 3 would have had no chance at Dralkard Manor even at tier 1-2. The warning not to run it for a party of four or an all lvl 1 party was very accurate. Luckily we managed without any deaths (but a lot of close calls). That's by far the deadliest of scenarios of the ten released so far.

And being so deadly, I can't wait to run you through it where ever we find a spot. In fact, I can run both 9 & 10 if you need me to.

You never said you would be playing Blood at Dralkard Manor. In that case I never would have proposed you make a new 1st level PC. That's specifically what I warned against in my review :)

And that I specifically warned about in a sidebar. ;-)
