Living Monolith soul stone confusion

The wording of the Living Monoliths soul stone ability is confusing me a little.
Firstly it says that they can use enlarge person 3/day but doesn't mention either a caster level or a duration. So how long would it last?
Secondly, at 5th level, this ability changes to Righteous Might instead of Enlarge Person. However since Righteous Might only lasts rounds per level instead of minutes is it still legal to use enlarge person instead?

It does say it, but it says it in another section.

For starters, there are 2 kinds of Soul Stone, and that affects your caster level. If you have an Ib Stone, your Living Monolith Caster Level stacks with your other caster level,

Ib Stone wrote:
Starting at 2nd level, a living monolith with an ib stone gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class he belonged to before adding the prestige class. He does not, however, gain other benefits a character of that class would have gained, except for additional spells per day, spells known (if he is a spontaneous spellcaster), and an increased effective level of spellcasting.

so for the purposes of Enlarge Person, your character level probably equals your caster level, unless you are multiclassing a lot, and then it's different.

If you have a Ka Stone, you only use your Living Monolith Level. I'm pretty sure, anyway: Ka Stone is the option available to characters with no other caster levels, so for those guys, CL = LML regardless, and I don't see any other justification for using or stacking other caster levels for your Ka Stone ability. So your caster level for Enlarge Person is there, but not in the description of Soul Stone, but rather it's broken up in the descriptions of the Ka Stone and the Ib Stone, and which you have is a choice for your character.

The wording of Greater Ka Stone says you have to choose Righteous Might.

when a living monolith with a ka stone invokes his ka stone’s power to increase his size, the living monolith gains the benefit of righteous might rather than enlarge person.

But most of the time, these kinds of things are abilities, and you choose whether or not you use an ability. For instance, Maneuver Training says Monks use their Monk Level instead of your BAB for Combat Maneuvers, but it has been ruled that if the character's BAB is actually higher, say if the character is actually a Fighter with some levels in Monk, the Monk gets to use his BAB instead. That suggests you should be able to use EP instead of RM, but it doesn't actually say it. I think you're in ask-your-GM territory, here. Honestly, I'd keep using the power regardless of the answer my GM gave and wouldn't change my build over it.

I never noticed this before: you only get this ability if you have a Ka Stone, if you have an Ib Stone, you don't even get the option.
