What is the lowest level character we can make with "orc horde immunity?"

Off the top of my head is an 11th-level fighter in +2 heavy armor and carrying a tower shield. Such a character would have an AC of 37 and be totally impervious to the standard Strikes of orc brutes and orc warriors (even when they roll natural 20s).

10 base
15 proficiency (11 level, 4 expert)
06 heavy armor (6 armor, or 5 armor 1 Dex)
02 armor potency rune
04 tower shield
==
37 TOTAL

Another level or two and not even an orc warchief stands a chance at harming a similarly built champion.

Wouldn't that level 11 fighter be Single Orc immunity, not Orc Horde immunity, since it hasn't accounted for the other orcs behind you?

That's why I clarified "standard" Strikes. If it matters to you though, we can account for simple tactics such as flanking.

I don't want to get too far into the weeds though, as there's just too many possibilities or variations to be 100% immune to every possible outcome.

So 13 is currently our lowest level then I guess?

CHAMPION
10 base
19 proficiency (13 level, 6 master)
06 heavy armor (6 armor, or 5 armor 1 Dex)
02 armor potency rune
04 tower shield
==
41 TOTAL

High enough to ignore orc brutes, orc warriors, and even orc warchiefs--along with numerous other monsters.

grab some resistance and you won't be at risk regardless of the AC

I just realized that the warchief can increase the attack and damage of himself and the other orcs by 1. The 11th-level fighter falls even further behind. Fortunately, our 13th-level champion is still immune.

I can't think of anything offhand that can give you resistance that high.

You'd need resistance bludgeoning 30, piercing 22, slashing 26; or resistance physical 30 to be immune to the published orcs.

Liberty's Edge

AC 30 or so and Resistance 15 or so would do (since AC that high means they can't ever crit).

Now, I'm not intuitively seeing any way to get Resistance 15 (aside from Stoneskin, which only protects against 20 attacks at most), mind you, but 15 is what you'd need.

If an orc fell on you from a great height, you would need to make a critical success on a DC 15 reflex save to avoid taking damage.

Several larger greenskins could assist a smaller one to get airborne.
