I am Kobold Klan, and I've been Wanting to play a Pathfinder Game for a while, getting bored with waiting for my friends to get available, So I've decided to try and advertise here.
So some Baseline rules- I will be planning on using Discord/Maptools to run the game, Details on when we will play can be worked out there, figure out when we are available/make our characters over there
As for rules/story of the game- You will start alot like Skulls & shackles, Have your loot listed, but start off with it all stripped, And in a Jail cell, Of which you will Quickly be saved from
Since this is gonna be a planescape/planes setting you are recremded to do whatever you want with backstory and race, As you'll actually start the game having been Kidnapped By Gith Slavers straight from your home plane/world.
Starting level will be 5, as you can't really survive the planescape long at any Lower levels. And it lets me throw some monsters at you other than Kobolds and Goblins.
We will be using spheres of power/might, as it's just more Fun.
For now this is just a Check to see if folks will want to play this as I am Kinda Still working on setting up the map in Maptools and all that. Not to mention I'm. It even sure folks will want to play through discord

Spheres is also a lot of fun, and I’d be quite interested in trying out mythic spheres. I’ve had my eye on the worldsoul incarnate barbarian archetype for a while now, and I’d love a chance to try it out.
I have an idea of a character that would be cool to play in spheres of power, so I’m interested.

Honestly, at this point I'm less looking for characters- when this comes too recruitment it's more gonna be "who wants to join" rather than the typical Applications.
I mostly wanna Set up a single day, Do a session weekly or Twice a week, most likely monday or Wednesday, Although If everyone is available on diffrent days I'll see what I can do
Aw man. I'm in a totally different time zone (and I don't feel confident enough with my English to be involved in such a game), so this one's not for me. BUT, is you ever decide to do something similar on PbP-like format, count on me! :)
I'm in Mountain Time and I'm usually Available 4-9PM MT, so that means I'm 6-11 EST, if that helps folks with Time Zones
Similar feelings to Jereru. I’ve got a work schedule that fluctuates a fair amount which means that finding a concrete day to play on isn’t very feasible.
I don't Expect A Dedicated group.
Luckily Using discord allows us to ashuffle around the day we play, As we can communicate with each other and set up a new day in case of holidays or work, or other stuff that may come up

How about a discord-based game? Written form, like here, but through discord so everyone pops in when it's more convenient for them. I've never tried, but it seems more "fluid" than straight PbP. Or it could be madness, I don't know.
I've tried somthing Like that, It could work, But I'd rather have some way to use a map.
.... Plus Maptools has mysteriously went down, Alot of problems just came up at once :P

Well, yes, either real-time discord, chat discord or PbP, for maps it works have to be a third-party tool.
I would be interested, but unfortunately my schedule rarely allows for a fixed-time game. On the other hand, I can usually check in several times a given day to see if there's something to be said if it's via messages.
I'm interested. I have not looked at mythic spheres before, but I'm stuck home now with lots of time to read :D
I'm in a Discord one now that basically does the same as normal PbP, everyone contributes in their own time, same as the DM.
Not having dealt with MapTools, I googled it and now I know why you like it, it sounds good. And now I know why you like to use it live, you need to keep the server up so players can do things. So, I did a bit of poking around because I wondered about hosting it in the cloud on AWS. Running it on AWS takes some effort and unless you're familiar with unix and AWS, I would not advise it. If you are familiar with unix and AWS, this would be your best route. I looked at Azure as an alternative, while there is 1 AWS tutorial, there are no Azure ones.
We use Roll20 for maps, everyone can be given permission to move their own pieces whenever they want, its on the web so always available. I have not DMed with it, but now I've had four games use it, the DMs have said it is quirky at times but allows for good lighting and fog of war. I saw two articles for MapTools users about Roll 20:

Having run campaigns for nearly 30 years and unable to make a single time slot work weekly right now, I miss the immediacy of playing with people live, but now I get to play with people from around the world. I have enjoyed the PbP in Discord a lot but giving up a tool you like and know for something else is a hard choice.
I'd be up for playing on discord if you're still looking for folks. Not overly familiar with spheres of power/might but I'll be having a look at it. Should be flexible in terms of time at least for a good while. Both text and voice are good.
Edit: albeit I should say Wednesday is less likely than Monday for me since I DM Wednesdays around the mentioned time
This looks like it has quieted down a bit, but I'll also toss some interest in PbP on discord out there. Hopefully it's still something in the works as both Planescape and the Spheres are excellent fun!
