I'm looking at an elemental bloodline sorcerer for wrath of the righteous and I'm debating which bloodline to take. So far I've ruled out . . .
air/earth: Wrath is against demons and a lot are resistant/immune to their damage types.
Aether/Wood: I know this is an error in herolab and you can't take them.
That just leaves fire or water. I'm leaning towards water because there are a lot of fire spells (burning hands, scorching ray, fireball) and with the elemental ability you can switch them to cold damage. On the other hand fire gives you an extra 30' base speed to runaway. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Acid works about as well as cold - by default demons have 10 points of resistance against acid, cold and fire. From the lowly dretch up to the imperious marilith. Even the balor adds "only" fire immunity on top of that.
So you need some alternative at low level. AP spoiler:
Footnote: Running away doesn't work well against demons. They start teleporting around at CR 7...

Hmmmm. . . I missed the cold and fire entirely must have just somehow skipped over it. Well in that case its easy I'll go with fire. The character's a peri-blooded asimar so that works thematically as well as mechanically. Thanks.
