Hi all,
I couldn't find a post on this yet so I'll ask it here.
Various biohacker class abilities allow it to do an action on 'adjecent willing or unconscious creature' (theorems: field dressing; treat condition, i.e.).
The biohacker van apply biohacks and medicine checks at range, etc. Ranged use of skills serms to be its thing.
Do the rules allow the biohacker to use the theorems I mentioned at range (within the range of the custom microlab)?
Thanks!

Using a minor booster biohack allows you to attempt some Medicine checks on targets you affect so long as the target is within range of your custom microlab. This doesn’t require any additional time or action beyond making the attack. The tasks you can attempt with such a Medicine check depend on your level, and they don’t have the duration of normal booster biohacks.
At 1st level, you can attempt a Medicine check to administer first aid. At 3rd level, you can attempt a Medicine check to treat drugs or poison,

Yep. You can't sadly
Honestly though. The healing theorem probably should've been free serum style. Or it's own biohack pool.
I was pushing for it in the playtest. Because it made it almost only for out of battle use on most biohackers.
Though at least now we have more melee weapons.
Still really wish it was tied to the microlab

Needing to get up to someone to use field treatment has meant that the bio hacker in my party, who does usually prefer to keep his distance, has needed to move into a more dangerous position to use his ability a few times. And it's been fine. There's not a real need to be able to always do everything from a safe distance.

Ideally the dicey situation is better by the time he needs to heal, but it's true, hanging in the back character tend to still have their stamina when they find themselves needed on the frontline.

Yeah it works.
It just feels very counter intuitive compared to the rest of the class and how its worked. Almost everything else I can think of works whether you're building Str Melee, Dex Ranged, or Dex Both (so a pistol with a scope/sights and a hypoinjector I guess. I dont think it flows very well).
The biohacker, to me, feels very much like a "mid range" person, So I wanted a bit of range in what I can do. That way I can help the far backline, but also the front line. I always liked how I could go to either one and rescue/help out the situation.
I skipped over the Healing theorom and just went with Healing Serums for now. I'm an int based biohacker though. I was tempted to take medic and the theorom but I really will rarelry use it compared to a serum (which I dn't think works with medic archetype)
Frankly. I still hope they'll make a proper damaging Injection sniper rifle. Because that would just make all my dreams come true. I don't like multiple attacks, I just like the one solid attempt and movement.

As sidenote. I super am tempted to make a Estoc melee biohacker whose wis based so I can repair my stamina.
