I'm worried that since I started a subscription this order cycle, a bug is holding up my usual subscriptions. Also, in the my account page, the order that started my adventure card subscription has the picture of the curse of the crimson throne set, but that item does not appear in the subscription order that absorbed it.

Both orders have shipped, or gone into your sidecart. The subscription did not generated a Curse of the Crimson Throne set, so I have generated one. It is currently in your sidecart. Would you prefer it goes out right away instead?
