This order has been completed, and I have the pdfs, so no problem there. but... The authorization email divided the shipment into two packages, one of which had two items, the other six. The actual shipment was done in two packages, one containing one item (not one of the two items in the aforementioned smaller package) and the other containing the remaining seven. The actual shipping total was two dollars (roughly) more than the original estimate, and the shipping for the one item was more than 45% of the cost of the item (both smaller shipments were marked as weighing one pound). So why the change?

Hello Ed,
I have issued a refund for the difference to your original payment method. You should be able to see it on your account as soon as your bank processes it.
I asked warehouse about the packages and they told me the form factor for the Bestiary Cards was originally off (it was lighter) and when it was updated our system had to recalculate which items go in which packages to meet the postal requirements. This is also likely why the quoted shipping price changed.
I investigated the shipping price on the second package, and it was correct. The price of an item is not something the postal service factors into their shipping rates.
