How does a Fused Eidolon Synthesist calculate saving throw

The Eidolon's BAB overrides the synthesist's BAB

gains access to the eidolon’s special abilities and the eidolon’s evolutions (Adds the special abilities to the Synthesist's)

modifiers to ability scores; modifiers to ability scores for Dex and Con Saves

does the Eidolon's Saves override synthesist's Saves?

I want to make sure the excel spreadsheet "Pathfinder-sCoreForge-7.4.0.1" is correct

Biped: Saves Fort (good), Ref (bad), Will (good);
synthesist: Saves Fort (bad), Ref (bad), Will (good); Spreadsheet uses Synthesist

The synthesist uses the eidolon’s base attack bonus, and gains the eidolon’s armor and natural armor bonuses and modifiers to ability scores. The synthesist also gains access to the eidolon’s special abilities and the eidolon’s evolutions. The synthesist is still limited to the eidolon’s maximum number of natural attacks. The eidolon has no skills or feats of its own.

Use the Synthesist's Skills and Feats (but add 8 (Race) to Synthesist's Skills for Evolution "Skilled")

Did Pathfinder ever come out with any information on this question?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Since using the eidolon's saves is never mentioned you would use the summoner's saves (with fort and ref modified by the eidolon's con and fort).

JavaMan is right. But your saves will already be pretty ok with shielded meld.

At no point does the RAW say you gain the Eidolon's base saves, therefore you do not gain the eidolon's base saves.
