Would this combination of abilities work to allow you to hide?

Scarab Sages

For this its the unchained rogue class taking two talents.

First Hide in Plain Sight (Ex): The vigilante can use Stealth to hide even when being observed. As long as he is within 10 feet of dim light (his own shadow doesn’t count), he can hide without anything to actually hide behind. Only a stalker vigilante of at least 8th level can select this talent.

Secondly take Eerie dissaperance which allows As a full-round action, the rogue can move up to her speed. If she successfully reaches a location that offers her cover or concealment, any creature observing her must attempt a Perception check opposed by the rogue’s Stealth check. On a failed check, the observer loses track of the rogue and fails to note where she moved to. The rogue does not take a penalty on this Stealth check for moving up to her speed.

At the end of her movement, the rogue can attempt an Intimidate check to demoralize all foes within 60 feet who were aware of her at any point during her movement and are unaware of her current location. She rolls the Intimidate check only once and compares her result to the DC for each opponent.

Could you combine the two so you move up to your speed and then hide in plain sight to dissapear as any dim shadow within 10' would provide concealment?

You'll need to reach a location within 10' of dim light - which is a term with game meaning, it's not guaranteed in every shadow. Otherwise yes, it should work.

Interesting and amusing. Thanks.

Another combination I'm curious about?

If you have Quick Draw that lets you draw a weapon as a free action (or a hidden one as a move action) and quick shot where you can make an attack as a switft action if you have one in hand (and loaded if applicable)? That is free action to draw, swift action to attack or does the fact its in its sheath prevent you using quick shot?

You can't spend any action at the initiative roll normally, and wouldn't be able to use a swift action there if quick shot didn't give you that option. So no, you can't use a free action there.

Scarab Sages

Ah that's a shame. Thanks again.
