Multiclass Caster Level Question

Hello all,

For multi-class dedications how does caster level work? The number of spell slots/future advancement is fixed based on the dedication feats, but are cantrips tied to when you pick up the dedication feat (i.e. character level 2+) or are they still tied to 1/2 character level rounded up?

They work off your current level (it does not matter when you pick up the MCD)
