STELLIFERAS I just unlocked it SFS and what does it mean.

Rules Questions

I played a certain adventure path all the way through and unlocked this.

He is Diminutive size, so what does this mean? I seriously have no AC bonus to this. What about weapons and armor, do I have to custom make my weapons, or can I buy them diminutive size. Or am I just simply carrying water containers with me to keep him medium sized? And how does the Hydrobody work when playing a scenario, or how would I keep it? Carrying lots of water with me?

the stellifera:
Ability Adjustments: +2 Wis, +2 Cha, –2 Con, –4 Str Hit Points: 2 Size and Type: Stelliferas are Diminutive magical beasts with the aquatic subtype. A stellifera can’t breathe air unless he has artificial life support.
Darkvision: Stelliferas have darkvision with a range of 60 feet.
Hydrobody: Provided enough water exists nearby or in the air, a stellifera can psychokinetically construct a watery humanoid-shaped body as a full action and maintain this hydrobody indefinitely, including while unable to take actions or unconscious. A stellifera can dismiss this hydrobody as a standard action, and it disintegrates if he dies. The hydrobody affords the stellifera the size and reach of a Medium creature, and while unclad, it can fit through any opening the stellifera can without squeezing. While within a hydrobody, a stellifera has a Strength score 4 higher, 2 additional Hit Points, a land speed of 30 feet, a swim speed of 30 feet, and the ability to wield weapons and wear clothing and armor as a Medium creature. In addition, a stellifera in a hydrobody takes the bleed effect from only a wound or severe wound critical hit effect, is immune to gases and inhaled poisons, and gains a +4 racial bonus to Fortitude saving throws against diseases and poisons of the contact or injury types. The hydrobody slowly exchanges oxygen with the surrounding atmosphere or liquid, including environmental protections from armor, allowing the stellifera to breathe as if he were underwater. The nature of this body makes the stellifera immune to most effects of vacuum as well as atmospheric or underwater pressure. The hydrobody stores enough oxygen at one time for a stellifera to go 1 hour without oxygen exchange from his surroundings. After that time, he risks suffocation.
Stellifera Magic: Stelliferas have these spell-like abilities: At will: psychokinetic hand, telepathic message
Stellifera Movement: A stellifera has a land speed of 5 feet and a swim speed of 30 feet.

You just use medium sized stuff, and spend 100% of your time in hydrobody. The water doesn't just disappear mid-adventure.

Siza based AC modifiers are not a part of the system, no. If you want to use diminutive wdapons, instead of hydrobody, they do cost double the normal price.

Second Seekers (Luwazi Elsebo)

The nice part is that it doesn't cost extra to get diminutive armor... just weapons cost more. The hydrobody is able to use regular medium armor, but I'd rather have adorable little bitty cuttlefish armor, because you never know when a GM might rule that I can't form a hydrobody ("What do you mean, there's no water in space? Literally ALL water is in space!").

Professor Quid the Science Squid here doesn't even use hydrobody; instead she rides a hover drone while collecting information for her children's science show (and trying to keep a niche with kasatha-come-lately Dr. B's Science Jubilee sucking up all the oxygen like a bunsen burner in an airlock).

What I'm also asking is if I have armor on, I can stay in Hydrobody without adding water indefinitely? It says armor provides oxygen exchange and I assume it can keep and store the water. Can I start the adventure in Hydrobody stating he came here in his armor. Or do I have to add water every hour even in armor?

The 1 hour limit is how long you can keep breathing from the oxygen in the water, if it has no source of oxygen outside of your bubble. If you're wearing armor, you need to have no oxygen in the atmosphere around you, and use up your environmental protection duration (or not use them, I suppose, but I think you'd spare a standard action to turn them on some time before you suffocated) before that hour starts.

There is no reason you would need to go add water every hour.

You don't need to add water, at all. You'll only need more water if you dismiss your hydrobody and want to reform it, and even then, unless you're in some kind of desert, or space, you probably shouldn't need to have a bunch of water on you.
