Stupid Noob Question-Problem-Issue-type-thing

So I'm trying to update my account with a new email address... but when I click on the "submit change" button, I go to check my account to verify that the change has been made, my old and now defunct email address is still listed. Normally I wouldn't care, but I'm trying to place a digital order and I don't want my new PDF sent to the wrong email address. What must I do?

Or maybe I don't really don't need to worry about this. Maybe digital orders aren't sent to my email account. Maybe they just download direct to my hard drive. In any case, I'm not willing to spend $$$ to find out.

Any guidance on this matter is appreciated.

Any digital products you buy from Paizo are placed in you Paizo account on the Paizo website.

You find those products under My Account > Digital Content.

There are three information columns at the right side of that page:
Date Last Downloaded
Date Download Last Updated
Date Added To My Downloads

You can download those PDFs as many times as you want. The "Date Last Updated" column shows you if Paizo has made any edits or updates to the product, and if so when that newly edited version was made available. By comparing the two dates, you can see if you are using the most recent version.

The last column shows you when you bought the product. A note to that effect is also placed on the product page, so you can quickly tell whether you've bought the PDF, the physical product, or both.

Nothing is sent anywhere. It's all kept here on the Paizo site, and available to you any time you are signed in to your Paizo account, for downloading as frequently as you like

As for the issue with changing the email address on your account: When you change your email address on your account, an email should be sent ot your new email address confirming the change. You will need to get into the new email address to click the link in the email you are sent to confirm the change. This should finalize the email change on your account.
