Curses for non oracules

Advice

Curse is very intresting thing:you gain big penelty to smthg, but later you gain abilities, that help you with another side of your curse. Also oraculs gain revelations, that gives magical like abilities.
So, there are a ways to take curse for anothet classes?

Not that I know of (although if there is someone will chime in)

BUT

Curses level up (slowly) when you milticlass. Every non-oracle level counts as 1/2 a level for a curse.

So Oracle-5 gets the 5th level version of the curse.

Or Oracle-4/Fighter-2 gets the 5th level version of the curse.

Or Oracle-3/Wizard-4 ... Or Oracle-2/Rogue-6 ... Or Oracle-1/Cleric-8.

You only need 1 level of Oracle to get the 1st and 5th level versions of the curse. The classic example is an 8th level Barbarian who takes a level in Oracle at level 9 (Barbarian-8/Oracle-1) and takes the Lame Curse. This means he instantly counts as a 5th level Oracle for the curse, which means he is now immune to fatigue ... Rage-Cycling!

Ow, thanks. Its good that I need only one level of oracule. I want to create a Daredevil using brawler with clouded vision curse

If you don't want any levels of oracle, you can use variant multiclassing. It only progresses at half rate, but you bump it up by 5 at 11th level. You also get a few other perks. Costs half your feats to do all of this, though.

For ease of use:

VARIANT MULTICLASSING (known as "VMC")

VMC ORACLE (same page, just further down)

The advantages of VMC are that you don't lose a level of your main class (Brawler), and you advance your Mystery as well as your Curse. You also increase the level of your Curse much faster after level 10, and eventually (at level 20) you'll get the level 15 version of the Curse.

The disadvantage is that you lose a bunch of feats (at 3rd, 7th, 11th, 15th & 19th level).

There are some other dofferences, but "advantage/disadvantage" is more subjective.

Loosing general feats can hurts, but brawler gain bonus combat feats.

I knew about VMC, but dont used it much
