Well, i think you know where i want to go. Does countersong from bard allows you to use your perform skill? I have a bard in the party with a insane perform skill, making danse macabre almost useless.
Any tips are welcome.
Yes, RAW the bard could use countersong for that, as it is a sonic effect.
You could of course buff the DC (which I wouldn'tdo), or change the effect to still have a little penalty on a failed save (which might be an option).
But how often has the Bard used countersong before? In my opinion, this is a place for a niche ability to shine, and I'd let them have the joy of actually using countersong.
Also, I'd suggest posting stuff like this in the Scarwall GM thread, because players might also read this.
Thank you very much for your response. I esa thinking un apply a bonus to the save because the effect also have non-sonic components, something like a deafness bonus, but i think is way more elegant puta a penalty.
My party are 5 players (monk, alchemist, Explorer, bard, inquisitor) and sometimes its hard to put them un a challenge.
Anyways, i Will stop continuing this thread and doing in it in the gm one
