Raging Atlete

Rules Discussion

So I was looking at the swashbuckler class and noticed it had a raging athlete equivalent.

Does anyone else feel it's a bit sad that these classes have a feat that looks like it would be brilliant for the exploration pilar of the game (a buff to climbing, swimming and jumping) but can only be used in combat.

Normally you gain and use panache only in combat encounters, and when an encounter ends, you lose panache if you had it.

So you can gain Panache outside of combat, especially if you’re doing something daring, like say, parkour.

I'm playing a Barbarian now, and while they do have great feats like Raging Athlete, all of their feats are only useful while raging. That makes me a sad panda.

Ranger is similar, nearly all their feats can only be used against their Hunted Prey.
