1. Malicious Shadow Hex, pg. 42: The will saving throw entry seems to be an error that should be removed, as no details are provided for success conditions and damage is supposed to be resolved through a spell attack roll.
2. Ice Tomb Hex, pg. 43:
When a creature is unable to act for one full turn for any reason while ice tomb is in effect, they are completely encased in ice. This ice has Hardness 4 and 8 Hit Points; breaking the ice from the outside frees the creature ends the slowed condition, but the target is stunned 1 and takes any damage dealt by the breaking effect in excess of the ice’s Hit Points. If the creature reduces its slowed condition and breaks its own way free, it doesn’t take any excess damage and isn’t stunned.
I don't understand what penalty being encased in ice actually imposes if a creature can take actions to break itself free after it (1) becomes encased and (2) can somehow still take physical(?) actions to break the ice. More clarity may be called for. Does it prevent movement but not other actions, assuming you reduce your slowed level to get actions back?

Basic Lessons, Lesson of Fate (Occult), pg 38
Under Basic Lessons, all Lessons provide either a cantrip or 1st level spell for the familiar to learn. The exception being the Lesson of Fate which provides Augury which is a 2nd level spell.
Does a 1st level witch get to cast this at 1st level or must they wait until they get 2nd level spells in order to cast the spell?
Should augury be replaced by a cantrip or 1st level spell?

THat's covered under the header "Lessons"
Some lessons might teach your familiar spells that are of a higher level than the highest level of spells you can cast from your spell slots; as usual, you won’t be able to prepare or cast these spells from your spell slots until you reach a higher level.

No, you just can't cast it until 3rd level. It's written in the text for Lessons that some lessons can grant spells higher than you can currently cast amd you just have to wait until you can cast spells at that level.

Basic Lesson of Deceit is an Arcane tradition, but the spell granted is Phantom Pain, which is an Occult exclusive spell.
I don't think this is an error, Lesson on pg 36 includes this text: "A witch’s knowledge from their patron comes in the form of lessons. Each lesson teaches your familiar a new spell, adding it to the spells you can prepare using your witch spellcasting (see below)."
I take that to mean it's also added to your tradition, but they should certainly be more explicit about it.
Note that with Second Lesson you can choose a spell from another tradition, like picking up Ray of Frost on an occult witch.

This is similar to how other casters specialties work.
Cleric's deities provide domain spells at times that are not Divine such as Sarenrae providing Burning Hands at 1st level for the Fire Domain.
Sorcerer's bloodlines do the same. Demonic Bloodline, for example, provides the Divine Tradition. Several of the Granted spells are not Divine but instead Arcane, Occult or Primal (Acid Splash, Enlarge, Slow, Disintegrate, and Implosion).
The spells become whatever tradition the spellcaster uses despite what tradition they originally were.
