What is next after beginner box for time impaired father

Advice

My children are loving the game from the beginning box. We have limited time. I loved the way the little scenario was setup in the Game Master Guide was great. What would be my next step as a time impaired family that cannot create content. Basically, would love to have things setup and ready to go plus foldable maps.

I would suggest looking at one of the Adventure Paths. They have the campaign written in them already, and while I can't see and don't know specifically, I do believe they also come with the maps of their various encounter zones, though they'd be small and fit in the book itself.

Or if you want some smaller scenarios you can pick up and play you can try the Starfinder Society Scenarios. They are built to be playable with minimum setup time because the GM for any given session is expected to rotate, and are intended to be completed in anywhere from two to four hours.

Try this

This is a series of 5 small quests meant to be performed in order (with 2 of them being star ship combats) written for the Starfinder Society for level 1 characters.

Other then that you can easily divide them in roughly 1 hour per quest it also has the added benefit of being free.

No maps with it though, you'd need to buy those separately from the list of flipmaps Paizo produces (but all maps used in Quests should be available for purchase).

Where would I find these quests and maps? This sounds perfect. I am also assuming that society is just another campaign line, like the adventure path?

Sorry, I included the link to the product page but if you don't hover over the <Try this> part of my previous post you'll miss it.

The top post of the comments contains a spoiler block listing all the maps used in the quest pack

Maps can be bought:

Society is the Organized play part. There's a link at the top of website page with a drop down menu under the Starfinder name - link https://paizo.com/starfindersociety.
To facilitate play there are a bunch of scenario's written that are meant to be played in roughly 4 hours (some tend to run a bit longer). Most are stand alone adventures which sometimes contain links/call backs/clue to other scenario's.

These are only available as PDFs and not as paper books. So you'd need to either print them or play from a tablet/labtop/computer

The quest I mentioned is part of that.

You don't have to be a Society registered member to play any of the scenario's but if you do a whole world of playing with other people (in stores, conventions, online, etc.) opens up for you.

Adventure paths are a series of or rather 1 long adventure which follows 1 story across multiple levels/books which can take anywhere from 40-80-100? hours to play - depending on how fast your group plays for the entire adventure path

It might be useful for you to know that all adventure paths have all custom maps which do not come as a physical map if you buy the book. You'd need to either print or draw those yourself.
Society scenario's have a mix of the flip maps you can buy and custom maps but Paizo has been doing a good job at listing what maps are needed for the scenario on the product description pages for each of them. Some scenario's use only flipmaps, some are only custom maps and some are a combination of the 2.

There's also the 2 Free Skittermander scenario's which Paizo made as part of the Free RPG day program

and
https://paizo.com/products/btq01wyj?Starfinder-Skitter-Crash
which are both meant to be played with the included skittermander characters.
