Crossblooded Nine-Tailed Heir?

Rules Questions

if you take the archetype of Crossblooded for Sorcerer, can you take Nine-Tailed Heir as well?

The archetype section states, "A character can take more than one archetype and garner additional alternate class features, but none of the alternate class features can replace or alter the same class feature from the core class as another alternate class feature." But with Crossblooded it states that the bloodline spells are an "optional" replacement, on d20pfsrd.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

An archetype adding options is a change by RAW. Two archetypes both adding options to the same class feature is by that reasoning a conflict which prevents stacking the two.

i.e. No you can't take both by RAW. It's a perfectly reasonable thing to ask your GM to allow though.

Thank you for that.
