Yes. Scent helps a whole lot, but it isn't everything. Blindsight is everything.
Scent, Temorsense, and Blindsense are similarly effective. They can help you locate Invisible opponents, but they don't mitigate Concealment.
I did have a Half Orc martial character who took the Keen Scent and Blindfighting feats. That seemed to be mostly adequate: allowing you to re-roll the Miss Chance turns a 50% Miss Chace into a 25% and turns a 20% into a 4%, and she was much appreciated when the assassin drank that potion of Invisibility or when the Dark Creepers and Dark Stalkers cast their deeper darkness. She was less appreciated when she whipped out her Eversmoking Bottle...
