The Swordtrained racial trait for the Tengu says that they are automatically proficient with swordlike weapons, but the description doesn't specifically include the katana or wakizashi. For Pathfinder Society purposes, does this racial trait provide proficiency with those two weapons? Or would I need to trade out for the Exotic Weapon Training racial trait in order to pick up proficiency in these weapons? It seems pretty obvious to me that the katana and wakizashi are definitely swordlike weapons and that the exotic weapon training seems geared toward martial arts weapons. Has there been a ruling about this somewhere?
Swordtrained: Tengus are trained from birth in swordplay, and as a result are automatically proficient with swordlike weapons (including bastard swords, daggers, elven curve blades, falchions, greatswords, kukris, longswords, punching daggers, rapiers, scimitars, short swords, and two-bladed swords).
Exotic Weapon Training: Instead of swords, some tengus are trained in exotic weaponry. Such tengus choose a number of eastern weapons equal to 3 + their Intelligence bonus, and gain proficiency with these weapons. This racial trait replaces swordtrained.

Plus, if you are going based off of stats, then this combo is just slightly more powerful than a scimitar/kukri combo, which is explicitly provided by the race trait. It is just one damage dice each and the addition of piercing on the light weapon.
The fact that the list mostly covers more 'western' weapons reflects that Paizo likely did not want the race to seem restricted to the 'Japanese' settings of the game. I mean, crows are everywhere, and so are 'animal people'. That is likely why they are a usual race allowed in the society (rather than the relatively rare ones like the elemental touched, changelings, or even kitsune, all of which need a boon...unless I am massively misremembering something, in which case forget everything I am saying). Heck, even the suggested names have things like "Ebonfeather". So with their tendency to survive anywhere, plus their natural gift with languages, which allows helps them adapt to new regions quickly, it would be unsurprising if the idea was that they can come from any country.
