Holding your breath.

Can an average person (Con 10) really hold their breath for only 6 seconds?

Rules say that you have to start making checks after 1 + Con mod rounds. Should that be minutes?

My copy (PDF) says

CRB page 478, Drowing and Suffocating wrote:

You can hold your breath for a number of rounds equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier.

So the average person can manage 30 sec with no problem.
