Time oracle with powerless prophecy and temporal clarity?

Rules Questions

so powerless prophecy prevents you from acting in a surprise round, but temporal clarity at level 7 says you ALWAYS act in surprise rounds, even if you dont notice you get to go last. what takes precedence? is this a specific>general and the revelation trumps the curse?

They are both specific, neither trumps, Rule 0 applies.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Curses can't be directly circumvented by other abilities short of divine intervention. Temporal celerity won't work as well for a powerless prophecy cursed oracle.

would they not cancel eachother out at the least?

Nope. Unless your GM is feeling generous, anyway.
