Pathfinder (2) and psionics

Advice

Hi guys, have always dreamed to play with a good set of rules in the Dark Sun Campaign Setting, but 4e rules are somewhat clumsy (and poorly supported by R20 unfortunately) and 5e is not an option I wonder if I could use PF2 rule set for this?
The problem is that in Dark Sun Psionic Powers are a thing of utmost importance and I hardly found any rules for this in PF books and hope they will introduce it to PF2. Is this because Paizo avoided them due to some reason or I just missed something?
Are there Psionics at all in Golarion btw?

Rainzax is that a PF2e product?

I think PF2e could finally be the best ruleset for Dark Sun since 4e. I dont know that we will get psionics anytime soon for PF2e though. Paizo has occult spells so you could check it that supports the flavour you are looking for.

Yeah, I also thought that this ruleset would be great for Dark Sun, but the support for Psionics would be much appreciated and I am asking this to understand if it exists at all in Golarion and if Paizo was noticed using this.

Though the idea with occult spells being flaffed as psionics is actually a good idea. Thanks! Need to examine the spells there closely...

Paizo refused to directly support psionics in 1st edition. I believe they offered some support to dreamscarred with their Ultimate Psionics product (I think it was just their endorsement of the product but I'm not intimately familiar with it all). Their solution was to produce psychic magic in Occult Adventures. Given the occult spell list is now core via the bard and sorcerer I think it guarantees we wont see Paizo produce psionics (I also haven't heard anything to suggest a 3rd party has begun working on psionics either).

Occult magic is more "magic" then psionics obviously. But if you am have it as:
* Sorcerers = elemental plane connection (replacing clerics) for arcane and divine spell lists.
* Sorcerer (occult) and bard = psychic
* Wizard = defiler/preserver

I think you can get a good mix.

The only question is how do you handle defiling and preserving.

Guess will make preservation "Standart magic" and will give a feat for defiling magic being a bit stronger like it was in 4e. Maybe will have to come up with 2 new magic traditions.

Anyway sad to hear that Paizo didn't directly support Psionics (((

Furthermore, Dreamscarred Press has suffered a number of setbacks, and is behind schedule on it's planned release of Psionics for Starfinder, which was kickstarted quite awhile back.

They're still working on it, but I wouldn't expect any quick announcements of a PF2 version. When the SF does release, I expect it would be closer to the Psionic system you'd be looking for.
