Howdy.
SO i like the Aid action, and I saw that the Pathfinder Agent got some nice bonuses to that situation. But while reading the feats. I noticed this line
Deft cooperation
"When you successfully Aid an attack roll or AC, you gain a +1 circumstance bonus to attack rolls or AC against that enemy until the end of your next turn, whichever you granted to your ally. "
So that says aiding to AC.. but I don't think Aid can do that. (Assist in the playtest could do attack or ac tho). Aid copied below for convience.
So aid only lets you a d Circ bonus to a the roll you're aiding. When you're being attacked. AC is a static DC, not a roll right?
Did I miss something somewhere about adding to AC? Or does Deft Coop have a dead f eature. or does it Ghost Rules you a new way to use Aid (to AC.. somehow)?
I would love if I could Aid to raise ally AC. But I don't think there is a roll with that at all right? So.. you can't?
thanks for your input~
"When you use your Aid reaction, attempt a skill check or attack roll of a type decided by the GM. The typical DC is 20, but the GM might adjust this DC for particularly hard or easy tasks. The GM can add any relevant traits to your preparatory action or to your Aid reaction depending on the situation, or even allow you to Aid checks other than skill checks and attack rolls.
Critical Success You grant your ally a +2 circumstance bonus to,the triggering check. If you’re a master with the check you, attempted, the bonus is +3, and if you’re legendary, it’s +4.
Success You grant your ally a +1 circumstance bonus to the triggering check.
Critical Failure Your ally takes a –1 circumstance penalty to the triggering check."
