Well, some of the basics are easy. Key ability score is clearly a choice of Str or Dex, hit points is 10+Con. I think you can mostly keep the proficiencies the same for weapons and armor: Trained in simple and martial weapons, trained in light, medium, and heavy armor.

All existing martial classes are expert in two saves; I would follow Fighter's example there and go with Fort and Reflex. As far as Perception... Fighters, barbarians, and rangers are all expert. Champion, another likely inspiration due to armor, is only trained however. I think this could go either way, but I'd lean toward trained.

I would steal Champion's weapon and armor progression wholesale, since the class is defense-oriented. Expert weapons at 5, expert armor at 7 (along with both armor and weapon specialization), expert class DC at 9, master armor and weapons at 13, greater weapon specialization at 15, legendary armor and master class DC at 17.

Ignoring level 1 class features since that is the basic framework of the class, that leaves you with levels 3, 11, and 19 to come up with class features for, as well as deciding if any of those increases should have other class features alongside them. Most classes gain other class features alongside class DC increases, so I'd say at least level 9 should have another feature. Champions don't, but most other martial classes also gain something else alongside greater weapon specialization, so there's an option, too.

We based our initial saves off fighter, but honestly barbarian might be a better thing to look at for save progression - this feels like a class that should get to legendary in Fortitude saves. With that amazing armor progression, though, let's put them a little behind Barbarian; that fits nicely with the levels we need features for. So master Fortitude at 9 and legendary at 15.

I also think that the overall amazing weapon and armor proficiency should probably limit total save increases to the level Champion is at, which means we have one more save increase to "spend" - that needs to go in Will. There are a couple options here - we could give them a Fighter-like 3rd level class feature that comes with a Will increase, or we could put the will increase at 11. My temptation is to copy Champion here and give both a Will and a Perception increase at 11.

So that gives us this framework so far, without having really defined any "class abilities" yet:

1 - ???
3 - ???
5 - Expert weapons
7 - Weapon specialization, expert armor, armor specialization
9 - Expert class DC, master Fortitude
11 - Expert Will, expert Perception
13 - Master weapons, master armor
15 - Greater weapon specialization, legendary Fortitude
17 - master class DC, legendary armor
19 - ???

In addition to needing class features for 1, 3, and 19, most classes have some kind of class feature other than just basic progression in the mid levels; I'd suggest 9 or 11.

Out of time for now, but this would be my starting point at least. I should mention that the final save progression this gives - Legendary/Expert/Expert - is as far as I know unique. To my mind it makes sense for a class that seems to be themed around physical strength and defense, but you might opt for a more traditional Master/Master/Expert instead.

interesting...i was hoping to get it converted so i can use it with all its special stuff in pathfinder i found it very cool and unique..what your saying...kinda makes since? but...well pretend im an idiot.....dont pretend xD

It is an interesting class and I like the concept - a heavy armor focused base class that isn't Champion is something I'd like to see. If I have time I'll work on a more full conversion.
