Do you still need percentile dice in P2E?

Now that we have flat checks, what things if any, still require the use of a percentile die or dice?

Or are they now just backup d10s? XD

The Rod of Wonder is at least one instance of D% in the core book, so it seems that it’s still a thing

I think they'll probably get used for some GM facing things too. Random encounter tables, that sort of stuff.
