I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place, feel free to move it.
I noticed this morning that the Charm spell Critical Success, Success, Failure, and Critical Failure text seems to be backward. What I would expect for a critical failure is listed as critical success.
I am building my first character and I am looking at specific spells. I did not check if this was a pattern for other spells.
I hope this help for future printings.

Ah, I did not consider that it was from the perspective of the defender. I assumed it was from the caster perspective since they are casting the spell and causing the check to take place.
It will be interesting to see if that approach is consistent for all spells. I have not seen that convention before but it now makes sense.

The convention used is always based on results of the roll, no matter who is rolling. So for an attack, success is good for the caster. For a save, failure is good for the caster.

Part of me wishes they had gone with the style of "Make a spell attack roll against the target's Will DC" instead. I know it would have been killing a sacred cow, but it would avoid this confusion.
