Two-weapon fighting with shield

Given that Shield Bash is listed under Martial Weapons along with all the many other martial melee weapons, would this mean use of a shield and other weapon would qualify for the wielding two melee weapons for abilities like the ranger's Twin Takedown? In a home game it's up to the GM but wondering if this would be accepted for PFS games?

It can be done, but if you want the shield bonus to AC you'll still need to spend the action to raise your shield unless you have reactive shield.

If you need additional evidence, note that the Valeros pregen has Double Slice for precisely this reason.

(FWIW, I don't think this is a particularly edge case case, as you say, shields are literally listed in the weapons table. This clearly works.)
