Intellect Devourer

Okay so I need a bit of advice. I'm running a PF1 module in PF2 featuring one of these bad boys. The party has just started, but I'm planning ahead. I would assume the heroes need to be at least level 5 before they take on a level 8 monster (possibly with allies).

Unfortunately, it isn't present in the Bestiary. How do I go about creating an Intellect Devourer in PF2?

What steps should I take? Should I begin by tweaking any other level 8 PF2 monster... or should I start out with the PFSRD Intellect Devourer...?

Use a CR8 monster then put the intellect devourer special abilities on it like being able to enter inside corpses.

You could adapt the weakness to Protection by making it take damage for it like Vrock do for calm emotions.

The attack could inflict stupefied if you want to be a little more nasty.

How about a Brain Collector as substitute? it is a Level 8 creature with similar scope.

Excellent! Sometimes it's hard to keep up with name changes :)

It's not a name change, just a different level 8 creature that also steals people's brains.
