Am I crazy, or can that spell decimate an entire army? 8d12, reflex for half, but any number of targets, so long as the next one hit is within 30ft of the last
Well, for the chain to never end then you need the entire army to have saving throws low enough to fail on a 20 (thereby turning the result into a success). The difference in level would have to be pretty massive for this but it certainly is possible.

hmmm yea seems like the troops standard formation is to leave 35 foot spaces in the ranks? I guess a Critical Success on a save stops it also..but yea it seems pretty powerful against large groups. In an open battle field it would be pretty devastating....
The interesting thing is it say "creature" not enemy...so make sure every one stands way back :)
The caster chooses who it jumps to and can end the chain at any point they please. This isn't Arc weapons in Starfinder, thankfully. >.>
