My paladin character recently became the champion of his deity (homebrew draconic deity of Law, War, and Glory) and after proclaiming it to the rest of the clergy has been challenged to a duel of honor by the man who was SUPPOSED to be the next champion. I’m looking for some tips on preparing. Good spells, weapon enchantments, gear and equipment and the like. Both characters are lawful good and bound by honor and the paladin code. Otherwise, the only rule I’ve been given is that I can’t accept outside help. My character is level 13 with his highest spell slot being a single 4th level slot.

Bloodsworn Retribution for winning the duel? Basically +5 morale bonus to attacks and saves during the duel.
Angelic Aspect, Greater for DR 10/Evil, some immunities and Fly.
Mighty Strength if you don't have a good enhancement bonus to strength yet.
Having at least one Hero's Defiance memorized will likely be useful.
Probably an important bit is to know whether the GM is allowing the other Paladin to use Smite (or a variant of) on you. If he's just going to ignore your DR, Angelic Aspect is not as useful.
Depending on how close you start the duel, if you win initiative but have to move up to be in melee range, you probably want to delay. That way you get a full attack and the other paladin has to charge or move and then attack once. Or throw Shard Gel at him to prevent the charge.
Unless the GM has a specific build in mind to throw you against, its likely going to be a mirror match, so consider what shuts you down and build to defend yourself and capitalize on it.
If you have good UMD, consider Ablative Barrier, Heroism/Greater, Burning Disarm(and hope he saves), or Displacement.
