As the title reads looking into the cost of Snares and the fact that they're completely disposable it seems like requiring a feat for it is just a slap in the face.

I wish you could at the very least recover snares that haven't been set off, or that they simply became broken when set off so you have to spend time repairing them.

From what it looks like though a snare can cost more than scrolls normally do!

For a one shot that seems a tad high.

Just realized that Snares are pretty much a Ranger's domain. So trying to go into it without the Snare Specialist class feat is almost a total waste. Going to skip this one. :)

All cool items that do interesting things (snares, alchemy, magic) require a skill feat.

Ranger Dedication may be your friend. Haven't looked in depth at it but pretty sure if, for example, you are a Rogue wanting to lay down some snares? dipping into Ranger feats/specialties is a good idea.
