Best Free Setting Materials

Advice

Hello all, I'm considering starting up a small campaign and I'm looking for some good free Pathfinder compatible setting materials. I like a lot of Golarian and my use that, but most of the setting materials (understandably) cost money. Also Golaian is a vast setting which while awesome can be intimidating when trying to GM for a group that will likely know the setting better than I do.

So thoughts? Advice?

I don't know that there is any free stuff, really.
But, there's a pretty good wiki. That's probably your best bet.
More specific questions might even find answers here.

Raging Swan Press has extremely affordable campaign stuff. I know it doesn’t fit your bill of ‘free,’ but it’s seriously often for the price of a cup of coffee. I like the good micro-detail in their ‘Lost Coast’ products...

Thanks, I'll have to check it out.

Oh, I absolutely misunderstood the question, my bad. Thought you were looking for Golarion stuff, not just any setting.

I wouldn't know then, I play mostly homebrew and Golarion.
I do know second hand books can get pretty cheap even in very good state. Some stores carry some, so you can check.

My error. I meant to say ‘Lonely Coast.’ ‘The Lost Coast’ is of course where Sandpoint can be found in Golarion...

I found the Lonely Coast setting which has a free PDF. It's pretty nice from what I've seen. I haven't had a chance to dig in too deep yet though.
