Confused about Twin Takedown

Rules Discussion

Twin Takedown takes one action and says "Make two Strikes against your hunted prey, one with each of the required weapons. If both hit the same hunted prey, combine their damage for the purpose of its resistances and weaknesses. Apply your multiple attack penalty to each Strike normally."

Does this mean that if I don't need to move or take an action for anything other than attacking if I use Twin Takedown I can get 4 attacks in a round?

What does "Apply your multiple attack penalty to each Strike normally." mean exactly? If the first thing I do in a round is use Twin Takedown does my secondary weapon take a penalty? If so, what's my penalty to strike if my second action is also an attack?

If Twin Takedown *does* mean I can get 4 attacks, what's the penalty on my 4th strike in the round?

"apply the MAP normally" means exactly that.

Each ATTACK progresses MAP.

So if you use twin takedown with 2 non agile weapons you would attack with +0/-5

Also yes, it's 1 action for two attacks, so yes, if you stand still you can go twin/strike/strike for 4 attacks.

MAP "caps" at 3rd attack.

So if you do 4, 5, 6,etc attacks, all have the same penalty as your 3rd.

Thank you.

As Twin Takedown has flourish you can only use it once per turn,

Flourish: Flourish actions are actions that require too much exertion to perform a large number in a row. You can use only 1 action with the flourish trait per turn.

Horizon Hunters

Twin Takedown is where a melee Flurry Ranger really shines. Presuming you are next to your opponent and Hunted Prey last round, you get two strikes from Twin Take down at 0/-3 (-2 if the second weapon is agile), then two more strikes at -6/-4 agile.

It's hard to set up, but minimal MAP means you can pass out a _lot_ of damage.
