I'm not sure how it happened, but I went to create my -2005 and it did not appear in my list of characters. I refreshed my character list and it appeared, but edits I made to my -2002 disappeared. So, I went in to edit my -2002, and I received the duplicate name warning (because I was trying to put it back to the character name and not my placeholder). So, I went to my profile to see my aliases.
My -2002 was there with the correct name but my -2005 was missing. So I went to create a new -2005 with the Create a PFS(2ed) Character button. I tried the placeholder name and received the duplicate name warning. So, I went back to My Organized Play to look at my character list and there was still no -2005. So, I went back in to make another -2005, this time using a different placeholder name, and when that finished, I had THREE -2005 right in a row: my first placeholder name, my account name with random number, and my second placeholder name. All of them listed as -2005 in my character roster.
I deleted the two -2005s below the first one, and I hope it doesn't have any funky future consequences.
...and my -2005 is gone again.
This isn't mission critical. I will wait a couple days and make a new character. Even if it comes up as -2006 or some other number, it will be fine. But I hope to not replicate this odd little bug again.
...and now it's back (for now).

No, the deleted extra -2005s are still gone and the first one is still there.
They do show up in the list of characters who I can select for Playtest points boons, but I'm not terribly worried about that.
