I've bought the hardcover CRB but it hasn't arrived yet. Am I supposed to get the pdf for free as part of this purchase or do I have to buy it separately?

Have to buy it separately if you didn't subscribe. If you plan to buy some paizo books, might as well subscribe.
Thanks for the quick answer. That sucks, given the price esp. with shipping costs outside of US and the number of errors already, they should really give the pdf for free. I regret buying the hardcover.
Sad to say it, but that's the kind of thing you want to find out prior to purchase.
I'm really happy to have both, but subscribing to everything Paizo from here in France *is* a pricey proposition. Not only are the mailing costs high, but every time things get grouped into a big package, the French customs takes a slice for themselves. <sigh>
