Natural Ambition to select a 1st-level class feat from a 2nd class accessed through dedication?

Rules Discussion

If I'm class A but have selected a dedication feat to multiclass into class B, can I then use the Natural Ambition ancestry feat to get a 1st-level feat from class B?

no.

because the class B feats aren't in your feat list to begin with.

Getting an Archetype grants exactly what it says on the archetype feat, nothing more, nothing less.

what IS in your list is, as an example "Basic Trickery" that allows you to pick a level 1 or 2 rogue class feat. And Basic trickery is a level 4 class feat, so not applicable for Natural ambition.
