Advice

Hello, I'm looking for advise on creating a mercane witch for a friends campaign. She gave me a point total of 30 so a few thing are cut from generic mercane like secret chest. Also jumping into campaign at level 9. Anyways I primarily want my character to be using floating weapons. Such as they would be wielding a mace that after casting or activated will animate out of my hands swing then I can grab it and attack myself. I'd like to use this idea with my dimension door ability to cause easy flanking. Also I'd like to use ice based spells for debuffs and fighting as well. Any assistance would be helpful.

Third party stuff allowed or Paizo only? Any restrictions on sources within Paizo's products?

Also - you say witch, do you need this to be the character class?

Please keep it pazio, any material. I would prefer to also keep it a witch but please dont let that restrain you.

Magic trick (unseen servant) allows it to take aid another actions, and that's as much combat telekinesis as a witch gets (tho' twilight knife & wreath of blades look a bit like that). Not even patron spells help there. They do get a fair number of ice spells and rime spell can make them debuffs even if they're not otherwise. Also witches are not naturally good at melee with weapons, to put it mildly.

If you'd look at a hexcrafter magus that's something akin to a witch but with 6-level spellcasting and more melee ability. And a different spell list which includes more telekinesis.

If it's full spellcasting that you want then a shaman with the arcane enlightenment hex has all the spell options including spiritual weapon/ally, which is the closest in description to what you're after (short of a dancing weapon which you can't afford at 9th level). The spiritual guardian feat helps with those spells.

Would you like more detail on one of those?

I'm intrigued by the Shaymin idea would you mind providing more information based on that path choice?

How would I make a 9th level shaman who liked to conjure up flying weapons, to fight in melee, to teleport around the battlefield and to throw around ice spells? Maybe like this.

Choose the battle spirit as your primary spirit for a start - that gives you buffs enough to make fighting in melee a solid option. You have a wandering spirit which you will usually choose to be lore, and then take the arcane enlightenment hex as your wandering hex. AE lets you grab a spell or two off the sorc/wiz spell list which you can use for more telekinesis or more ice spells, or for whatever else you choose. I had a player who used it for mirror image mostly.

For feats since you apparently have dimension door as a spell-like ability you can get as much of the dimensional agility feat line as you like. With that in mind you might get
1: Dimensional agility
3: Power attack
5: Spiritual guardian
7: Dimensional assault
9: Dimensional dervish
If I'm misunderstanding and you don't have that SLA then you're a bit more limited. Dimensional agility at 7, assault at 9 and maybe drop rime spell in there at 1 to make your ice spells better debuffs.

You also have 3 hexes. One of those can be off the witch hex list if you like. Otherwise they're off the shaman list or the battle spirit list - you probably want battle master from the latter.
