The 1st boon granted by deities tends to be a list of different spell-like abilities that can be used a certain number of times per day.
I have a couple of questions about such boons. Do we select only one of those spell-like abilities (we are note granted all of them)? If the answer to the previous question is yes, can we select which spell-like ability we want each day (similar to preparing spells, I suppose) or are we locked into using only one of those spell-like abilities forever?

What firebug said. You’re stuck. Retraining *technically* works, but if you’re going to retrain, at least throw some roleplay into it... I mean... this is a relatively strong SLA granted to you by your deity... might want to feign some praying or religious contemplation. One fun thing about deity boons I like to do is roll to randomly determine which I get, then look for opportunities where they work well and play it off as deific foresight from your god. Something to further strengthen your belief in them, that they granted you this ability that you later needed to use.. rather than “I choose option B,” it’s “By the grace of Sarenrae I was blessed with this ability, that in our darkest hour we were delivered by her strength, blah blah blah blah”

I was about to dispute Firebug's statement when I first saw it, but further research showed that his interpretation was actually the most likely one, as confirmed by a more direct statement to that effect in the hardback Book of the Damned.
But the RP of the training is easy, as it would be similar to what you would do to retrain one of your domains. Your trainer would be a higher level follower of your deity, and you would join him in prayer and meditation for a few days and make a donation to your church. Your deity answers your prayers by granting you a new ability in place of the one previously granted to you.

There are a few that are worded a little different, like Torag where it doesn't have the "or", but I think those are proofreading errors as opposed to intentional.
Evangelist Boon 1: Strategic Warrior (Sp) anticipate peril 3/day, status 2/day, glyph of warding 1/day
Sentinel Boon 1: Battlefield Protector (Sp) sanctuary 3/day, shield of faith 2/day, prayer 1/day
I was pretty sure I saw one that had the spell levels reversed (so the higher level spell was 3/day) but I can't find it now. Maybe it was caught in errata and has been updated in the online resources already.
