They haven’t announced that (other than the Kingmaker rerelease, which includes a 5E statblock optional book).
That is very similar to the standard wording they used throughout PF1 (they used to specify the edition). I’m guessing it’s just a holdover, cut and paste error, since there’s been lots of movement in webstore staff over the last six months.
If it is a “cast your net wide” kind of marketing spiel, I think that conversion will be left as an exercise for the reader.
If the kingmaker experiment goes well, I think they’d be mad not to release official conversions. Worth waiting to see how it goes though, imo.

I noticed that the language in the descriptions of the new Age of Ashes adventures say they are for the PFRPG and the "world's oldest roleplaying game." Does this mean that Paizo plans to provide some conversions for 5e?
No. It's intended to help distributors and merchants understand what Pathfinder is, not a promise to do 5E conversions. We're VERY invested (and proud) of 2nd edition, and it's the game we're going to be focusing on creating. It's the game we know, the game we love, and the game we want to spend most of our time supporting.
There will be exceptions now and then, I guess, but if there are (such as with the upcoming Kingmaker book), we'll be obvious and up front that we're providing conversions... and will be working with other companies who know the other games rather than ham-handely trying to do it ourselves.

I'd prefer 1E conversions over D&D5E conversions.
I second that! (since PF1 is the game we're VERY invested (and proud) of, and it's the game we're going to be focusing on playing. It's the game we know, the game we love, and the game we want to spend most of our time supporting. at least when it comes to my gaming groups. other milages may vary)

Honestly, converting adventures on-the-fly between different RPG systems is pretty simple and straightforward.
Just sub in the stats for the versions of the monsters (or traps) from the version of the game you're running for the ones in the printed material.
Sometimes, you do have to fudge things if the same monster is at different power-levels (e.g. Intellect Devourers in D&D 5E are much weaker than they are in PF 1e) In that case, either fudge the stats accordingly or let the PCs figure out that the monsters are stronger/weaker than they expect.
If there isn't a direct equivalent, just pick a similar monster for the stats, but describe the monster as originally presented in the other material.
Over the past 10 years of running PFRPG 1e, I've used this method to run adventures and encounters originally written for...
D&D B/X
AD&D 1e/2e
D&D 3.0/3.5
D&D 5e
Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing
Dungeon Crawl Classics
Lamentations of the Flame Princess
Shadow of the Demon Lord
Blue Rose
By the same method, I've also run some PFRPG adventures using 5E, 13th Age, Dungeon World, and Black Hack.
