It doesn't look like it's legal.
If you take a look at THIS TRAIT you'll see a symbol beside the name (kind of an "X" inside a circle). This symbol means that the trait/feat/spell/archetype/whatever is PFS legal. Sometimes the symbol has a red outline, this means that the trait/feat/etc. has been changed for PFS, but is legal in it's changed form. If it doesn't have the symbol it's not PFS legal.
It may not he 100% accurate though (if it hasn't been updated in a while), so check another source if you can.

Pathfinder Player Companion: Plane-Hopper's Handbook **
Traits: The traits in this book are legal for play except well-provisioned adventurer.
That would be a no on that specific trait...anything that gives you free money or screws with the average wealth per level is basically out.
As for a list, Archives of Nethys is pretty good, go to THIS LINK and look for the Glyph of the Open Road next to the trait names, if there isn't one, it isn't legal. You can also look at the additional resources page for the book where the trait came from, and it should tell you there as well.

Interestingly, you can start with a free masterwork longsword. However, with anything that you can get for "free" you can't sell it for gold.
The character I typically use as a level 1 'pre-gen' uses that trait, along with Arodenite Sword Training. Stir in Medium (Champion): 18 Str, 14 Dex/Con, 12 Cha, 10 Wis, 8 Int. Human with Adoptive Parentage(Tengu) for the free Weapon Focus without requirements, and 1st level feat being Spirit Focus(Champion). 2 cantrips, 11 starting HP(8 base, +2 con, +1 favored class), and swinging a MW Longsword at +8 for 1d8+10 or an acid flask at +4 for 1d6+4. Drop the 1st level power (weapon proficiency) since you don't need it for 2 more uses of Spirit Surge. Frankly, 2hing the longsword is only +2 damage, if I could fit a masterwork shield or shield proficiency into it I would be happier. But hey, free hands to be able to draw and throw an acid flask are important too.
Be sure to bring your additional resources to show that everything is legal otherwise you will get audited immediately when you roll well and crit something for 36 damage at level 1.
Edit: Doing a bit more research, it looks like the trait Ancestral Armor is legal for PFS. Still not enough free gold to get a masterwork shield, but that would free up gold to be spent on more acid flasks/etc. However, with the above build, I would need to lose the Arodenite Sword Training, so would need to select Longsword with the free proficiency from Champion (and not the bonus surge uses).

There are a couple that they have let slip through that give you free stuff...but most of the traits that give you freebies have either been nerfed or banned. Ancestor's Blade, and Rich Parents both got the axe...and I'm sure a few others as well.
Sidenote: Walk into a level 1 game with a Str based character wielding a Scythe and crit for 50+ damage and you will raise a few eyebrows as well ;)
