Arcanist question

I am getting into pathfinder society play and was wondering about a feat i could take for an arcanist at level 1, and if it is legal to take this feat with the arcanist variant (occultist) at level 1.

Extra Arcanist Exploit:

Extra Arcanist Exploit
Your repertoire of arcanist exploits expands.

Prerequisite(s): Arcanist exploit class feature.

Benefit: You gain one additional arcanist exploit. You must meet the prerequisites for this arcanist exploit.

Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you do, you gain another arcanist exploit.

i am not 100% sure due to the class feature change at level one is changing out the arcane exploit for the ability conjurer's focus as below.

occultist ability:

Conjurer’s Focus (Sp)
An occultist can spend 1 point from her arcane reservoir to cast summon monster I. She can cast this spell as a standard action and the summoned creatures remain for 1 minute per level (instead of 1 round per level). At 3rd level and every 2 levels thereafter, the power of this ability increases by one spell level, allowing her to summon more powerful creatures (to a maximum of summon monster IX at 17th level), at the cost of an additional point from her arcane spell reserve per spell level. An occultist cannot have more than one summon monster spell active in this way at one time. If this ability is used again, any existing summon monster immediately ends.

This ability replaces the arcanist exploit gained at 1st level.

If you use an archetype that replaces a class feature, you don't have that class feature, and won't meet the prerequisites of the Extra Arcanist Exploit feat.

I'll look for the FAQ.

This one?

If you have an archetype or other rules element that replaces part of a scaling class feature, or delays when you get that class feature, you do not have that class feature until you actually gain that class feature.

Example: If you have a fighter archetype that replaces weapon training 1 (but not weapon training 2, 3, and 4), you don't gain the weapon training 2 ability until fighter level 9, which means you don't have the weapon training class ability at all until you reach fighter level 9. Anything with "weapon training" or "weapon training class feature" as a prerequisite is unavailable to you until level 9.

Basically, you don't have the arcanist exploit class feature until 3rd level, when you receive your first arcanist exploit, so you can't take the Extra Arcanist Exploit feat because it has that class feature as a prerequisite.

If you're going with the occultist archetype, you should probably be grabbing the summoning feats anyway. Augment Summoning is basically required and requires spell focus(conjuration). And Superior Summoning is great if you don't mind summoning multiples. So, that should probably be your first 3 feats. And then, if you want more, there are other great feats for summoning like Expanded Summon Monster and Versatile Summon monster.
