Black Dragon spell DC mistmatch?!

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

While creating all the 12 Black dragon age categories in TOS+, I noticed a discrepancy with the Spell DC of the Great Wyrm (20 Charisma = +5 bonus):

(source)

Quote:

Spells Known (CL 15th, concentration +20)

7th (4/day)— force cage, power word blind
6th (6/day)— acid fog, contingency, disintegrate
5th (7/day)— cone of cold (DC 19), dominate person, wall of force, waves of fatigue
4th (7/day)— arcane eye, black tentacles, dimension door, enervation
3rd (7/day)— dispel magic, heroism, hold person (DC 17), slow (DC 17) ...

Now, considering that the DC of a spell is 10 + Attribute (CHA for a Dragon, so +5) + Spell Level.

A Level 5 spell would have a DC of 10+5+5 = 20 (which matches what I am getting in TOS+). Is there a reason why the Great Wyrm Black Dragon has a DC of 19 for his 5th level cone of cold? Same situation for the level 3 spells... (DC 17 instead of DC18...)

Looks like copy/paste issue. The spell list looks like it was pulled from the previous size but didn't take into account any Ability Score changes for the DC. They did take into account the ability score change for spells per day though (8/day for 1st level).

Researching a bit more, I am not seeing where the spell list is actually described, just a table in the Bestiary with the listed CL and that it casts as a sorcerer. So... how were those spells (not included on the Ancient version which is in the Bestiary) chosen in the first place?

It looks like the great wyrm stat block was probably fan / end-user generated content uploaded to d20pfsrd. It doesn't appear to be from a published source, just an extrapolation of the Bestiary entry.

@TOS As d20pfsrd.com is its own separate entity and not related to Paizo, your best bet to get that issue fixed is probably to reach out to John Reyst using the site's bug and error reporting tool.

His source is the d20pfsrd.com site, so my guess is that somebody took the stats in the Bestiary and tweaked them to make this monster. You might want to let the guy running the site know that you caught some mistakes so that he can fix them when he has the chance.

All right, you guys are confirming that it's a bug...
I'll fix it myself as I have EDIT permission on that site.

THANKS for the Heads-up !!
