I've been having a lot of trouble trying to change my payment method from my old card to my new card. My new card is on file and everything, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to transition it over. the only thing I have is "Try again under this card" or something like that, which in turn means I can't pay for my own subscription.

The system can be very determined to hang onto your default payment method. It often helps to change the default for your subscriptions under your subscription settings before attempting to delete the old card.
I have ensured that your default payment method and your currently pending items have been changed over to the new payment method. The old payment method has been removed. You should be good to go going forward.
