Its on Netflix. Anyone seen it yet? Its surprisingly good.

Dark Archive

I was not familiar with the comic, so it was a fun surprise. All of the actors were really good, and whatever was going on in the direction / production brought out the best in actors I'd seen before and not thought much of in their previous appearances (the dude who played Luthor / One and Ellen Page, playing Vanya / Six, in particular, but also the guy from Misfits, and while I'd never seen him before, the kid who played Five).

It is surprisingly good. I felt it could apply to adventuring parties as well as well as superhero teams.

I am enjoying it a lot. I have no familiarity with the comic, so I had no expectations going in.

I read like 2 issues like a long time ago. It really only spoiled luthers reveal for me.

Anybody watching this?

I'm going to start watching it this week (right now) looks interesting.

I finished season 2. It's good.

Enough stuff is the same that it maintains the quality of season 1, and enough stuff is different that watching it feels rewarding. I'm not a big fan of time travel, so that's a thing. Otherwise I really like it.

I'm weirdly numb to the plot, like I didn't really care if they would stop certain things from happening. The characters though... I actually really felt for Vanya, 2 seasons in a row. And Ben... dear, sweet Ben.

Nathan... I mean, Klaus, is a staple character for the actor at this point. Alison, Grace, Pogo, even Sir Reginald had my full attention.

Y'know who really got to me though? Luther. I personally identify with a man who can't be with the person he genuinely cares for, feels rejected by that person, then channels their depression into food. His arc in season 1 was from leader to IDGAF PC. Season 2 sees him at a low but slowly, slowly clawing his way back to himself.

There's hope.

I saw the first episode, I loved the hook for the next episode at the end and I loved the character development.

A very good beginning and I will definitely keep watching.

I'm going to be putting this on my list of superhero shows I like.

Of which there is This one and Legion.

Liberty's Edge RPG Superstar 2008 Top 32, 2011 Top 16

Renewed for season 4, which will be its final season.

I haven't read the comics but the third season really felt like the end of the story. I may or may not watch the fourth season. Towards the end only Knife Guy (being a surprise daddy) and Reginald were of any interest to me, the rest at best forgettable or annoying.
