Spider weretouched shifter = Drider?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

How do you think a spider aspect weretouched shifter would look like during his Lycanthropic Wild Shape?
Could/would he look like a drider (a centaur like creature with a spider's lower body and a human upper body).

Any ideas?

Up to the player. As Wilderness Origins doesn't drop physical for another 2 weeks I have no access to read the new aspects.

They could look like any hybrid, though most likely they'd look like the Entothrope Werespider from Bestiary 6.

" A weretouched’s hybrid form is roughly the same size and shape as her natural form, albeit with bestial qualities such as digitigrade legs or shaggy fur"

So no, a spider aspect wouldn't get multiple legs anymore than a wolf aspect would.

Still humaniod, 2 arms, 2 legs.

Probably get chitinous skin with some coarse hair, faceted eyes, stuff like that.

That's kind of disappointing. What's the point of a spider person that doesn't have eight limbs? At least meet halfway with a Muffet-type body or something.

You're right about the 2 arms, 2 legs. Good point.

Now that being said, if it didn't have an mechanical effect (other than what you would get anyway) and was just the visual you wanted, I would allow it as a GM.

I might even be willing to negotiate maybe some additional abilities in exchange for losing things, like a climb speed but losing boot slot. I'd want to think about that.

This is of course house rules territory though.

You are this

Probably looks more like an ettercap
