On an unrelated matter, I also love the X-Men First Class movies, and I don't think the MCU would be able to do a better job than that. I'm hoping X-Men don't end up in the MCU...
Speculation is there will be a split between Hulk and Banner; might happen in She-Hulk.

I for one am really hoping the MCU keeps the Sony universe at arms length. I’d rather not see Tom Holland’s Spiderman in a Venom movie, or whatever nonsense Sony is cooking up. The ideal outcome for me is that Tom Holland's Spiderman remain in the MCU and Sony keeps their hands off of him going forward.
I can’t continue to ignore Sony’s “super hero” movies as easily if they start to merge with the MCU.

He wasn’t “assigned to Star Wars now”, he’s simply a huge Star Wars fan as well as a massive Marvel fan, so he wanted to work on a Star Wars movie. He’s still very much in charge of the MCU

Well they could "not" kill the unkillable black guy first. I think that would be an improvement.

I'm pretty sure one can be in charge of one thing and still do something else too. I mean that's how Paizo works...
Not trying to be snarky but trying to make a point here... being at the head of dozens of MCU movies and then taking on Star Wars is a bit over-achieving, and trying to compare 15,000+ strong armies of movie making employees to Paizo isn't helping change my mind much...
In any event, I think the gold standard for X-Men is the one we just had (McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence, Hoult). Need I mention Jackman appearing in the last one? By the way what's up with that? all the websites don't mention that appearance at all!?!

A producer isn't the same as a director or writer. They have a big job, but they can also delegate things.
I have zero concerns that the MCU will in anyway be compromised by Fiege coproducing a Star Wars movie. If he can handle...7? Disney plus shows and a movie schedule with I think 4 theatrically released movies in 2021, adding a Star Wars down the line is nothing.
